Islamic Events in the United Kingdom

Islamic events in the United Kigdom have become increasingly popular over the last two years or so. The most outstanding and succesful event was the Globabl Peace and Unity 2005 event held in London Excel which is in the Docklands area of London very close to the main city centre. It is a short distance from the very popular Canary Wharf. Over 25000 people attended this event. Initially the event was set to cater for 15000 people but due to popular demand this had to be increased.

The next major Islamic event that took place was Islam Expo which was in the prestigious ALexandra Palace in Wood Green which is in the North of London. Islam Expo was more widely advertised from billboards to adverts on buses in London but the turnout seemed to be questionable after the Exhibitors. The timing of the event was also a little off, nevertheless it was pretty much successful. The Islam Expo team has promised a much improved and better organised event in 2007.

After Islam Expo came 'A Call to Humanity' which was held in the great Manchester News arena which was in the city of Manchester. A Call to Humanity was pretty much a successful event too but did not get the turnout that was expected possible due to timing reasons too. London is also a more central and convinient place for people to travel too.

The next major Islamic event in the U.K is the Global Peace and Unity event that is going to be held on the 25th and the 26th of November 2006 in London ExCel again. There is an estimated turnout of 50000 people Inshallah. Muslimbase.com will be holding a stall at this event and would like to invite everyone muslim or non-muslim to attend this event.
